⭐KUSD is exploring the careers in Culinary, Hospitality, Retail and Tourism! 🍽️✨ White Cliffs Middle School had the incredible opportunity to host Chef Michael Johnson from Mohave Community College. He brought a taste of the culinary world right to their school.👩‍🍳 Chef Michael not only prepared delicious pasta but also showed our students how to whip up their own pasta dishes with a sauce and toppings. 🍝 They also learned the art of crafting a classic Caesar salad as well! 🥗 But that’s not all! The students took on the role of servers, taking orders from our very own staff and serving up their culinary creations. 🍽️💖 A massive shoutout to Chef Michael for inspiring our students and giving them a glimpse into a career in the culinary arts!

The 8th Grade Showcase at White Cliffs Middle School this year provided an incredible opportunity for 8th graders from Kingman Unified School District, as well as from Yucca, Valentine, Cedar Hills, and Emmanuel Christian to explore Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. Students had the chance to interact with peers already enrolled in these programs and engage in hands-on activities, including welding. This event was a valuable experience for introducing young learners to potential career paths and practical skills.

Just before Fall Break, White Cliffs Middle School celebrated their students' positive behavior with a new initiative called the Wolf Pack Celebration. At the start of each quarter, students receive 100 points, and the goal is to maintain those points by avoiding Pack Infractions or Referrals. On the last day of the quarter, those who succeeded were rewarded with a 2-hour fun period! During this time, students had the chance to participate in various activities, switching every 30 minutes. Their options included Silent Ball, Board Games, Legos, Jeopardy, Origami, Coloring, Water Balloons, Lip Sync battles, Phone time, and more!
